The Academy 2024 K-Pop Boot Camp is accepting applicants who are 11 years of age and older. Applicants who are minors will need parental consent in order to submit an online audition or to participate in a live audition. Both the live and online auditions will be based on auditionees showcasing their dance and/or vocal skills with 1 minute maximum to showcase each skill. Showcasing vocal skills are optional, but any song can be used in the audition, as well as any style of choreography. For applicants interested in participating in online auditions, there are other specific requirements to meet including filming a video horizontally and in a brightly lit location, filming a self introduction video, filming a dance routine with the camera capturing the applicant’s full body, and uploading the video to the Google Drive or Dropbox with the subject “(Full Name) 2024 Boot Camp Audition.” For additional tutorials and examples, the specific audition steps and 2023 Audition Video Playlist are provided by The Academy. Additional information about live auditions, as well as requirements for online auditions, can be found on The Academy’s official website:

Upon the conclusion of both live and online auditions, the audition judges will review all applications to determine the Top 100 trainees, who will join The Academy 2024 K-Pop Boot Camp. The Top 100 results will be released on July 08, 2024 (AEST). For the Top 100 trainees, who are chosen to participate in The Academy 2024 K-Pop Boot Camp, will be given a “Letter of Offer” with instructions to claim their spot in the 2024 K-Pop Boot Camp. In addition, there will be “Audition Awards” given out to outstanding candidates at the conclusion of the live and online auditions. The Academy understands the efforts required of auditionees, and they want to recognize those efforts by awarding auditionees who did well with sponsorships. All auditionees who officially registered and paid the $60 AUD fee, are qualified to enter this awards program. The auditions will be ranked with scores by partnered agencies, as well as vocal and dance trainers.
