All eyes are on K-Pop’s hottest new group, LNGSHOT, and their next power move is with none other than Jay Park. Joining forces with the global icon, who is their CEO and mentor, LNGSHOT is releasing their next mixtape, 4SHOBOIZ Vol. 2: 4SHOVILLE on May 18th at 5:00 AM New York / 6:00 PM Seoul. Today, they dropped the official music video for the first single, “4SHO 4SHO,” which documents LNGSHOT’s whirlwind, meteoric rise since debuting less than six months ago. The opening track of the mixtape, the single expresses Jay Park and LNGSHOT’s confidence and poise through the catchphrase.
Formed as the first boy group under Jay Park’s independent label MORE VISION, Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin and Louis debuted as LNGSHOT in January with SHOT CALLERS and has rapidly become one of the most talked-about new acts globally. Their breakout single, “Moonwalkin,’” has surpassed 42 million views on YouTube alone, with other fan-favourites like “FaceTime” and “Never Let Go” going viral with over 50 million plus streams. In a brief time, they've grown over 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and ranked among the most-streamed groups globally in 2026 with over 240 million streams. That momentum has extended across platforms, where they’ve built a rabid following in the millions across TikTok and Instagram, alongside early international support from Genius, BuzzFeed UK, MTV UK, and Billboard Korea, which named them K-Pop Rookie of the Month in February.
The group takes their name after “long shot,” a fearless strike meant to defy the odds. LNGSHOT aims to move beyond traditional K-pop frameworks to build a sound and world shaped by each members’ authentic, creative contributions and coming-of-age experience. Ohyul (b. 2006) is the leader of the group, Ryul (b. 2006) is the main rapper, Woojin (b. 2008) is the creative of the group, and Louis (b. 2010) is the main vocalist.
Prior to their official debut, the group released 4SHOBOIZ MIXTAPE, a self-produced, hip-hop driven project that set the tone for their unconventional approach. Right out of the gates, they made global headlines with their enigmatic performance of their boisterous single, “Saucin’,” at the Melon Music Awards in Seoul in December 2025. They continue to take creative risks, approaching from left field with releases like their latest EP, Training Day, and individual collaborations like Ryul on Yuki Chiba’s viral track, “アニョハセヨ (Annyeonghaseyo) (4SHO Remix)” and Louis on JayDon’s remix of his hit, “Lullaby.” They’ve also been busy on the road with performances at ComplexCon Hong Kong, MIDEM in Cannes and 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Festival in Tokyo. LNGSHOT is set to perform at HITC in Los Angeles in August and is performing at the 2026 K-EXPO USA K-POP CONCERT in Los Angeles later this month. Stay tuned for more announcements.
Keep up with LNGSHOT
