Confirming their status as one of K-pop's most promising rising new acts, 82MAJOR returns with their fifth mini-album 'FEELM.'
Combining the words "feel" and "film," FEELM is meant to be a body of work that captures various moments and emotions in this one film presented by 82MAJOR. The group composed of members Nam Seong Mo, Park Seok Joon, Yoon Ye Chan, Hwang Seong Bin, Cho Seong Il and Kim Do Gyun participated in every song across the five tracks, including lyrics and composition, further showcasing themselves as "self-produced idols."
In 82MAJOR's first release in about six months since 4th mini album Trophy from October, the title track single “Sign” boasts a dreamy melody and understated beat to showcase a new mature side of the group. The song describes two people getting closer to share feelings and emotions using signs to communicate with an emotional hip-hop sound as well as sleek R&B-pop harmonies.
FEELM contains additional genres to show 82MAJOR's musical growth: “W.T.F” opens the album with jazz before moving to heavy hip-hop beats; “CAGE” has a vibrant Baile funk production to sing of the irony of love; “CIRCLES” expresses desire with a heavy bass and rock sound; and “YESSIR!” is a house-based dance track, closing the album with retro samples to declare a message of self-improvement and moving forward.
To commemorate the release of FEELM, 82MAJOR held a live showcase in Seoul with fans, debuting new songs “Sign.” “W.T.F” and “CIRCLES” live for the first time to the public.
FEELM arrives as 82MAJOR continue to distinguish themselves as a performance-driven act with a distinctive aesthetic point of view. Since debuting in October 2023 with their debut single album ON, the group, whose name combines South Korea's international calling code (+82) with the word "major," reflecting their ambition to become a representative act for their country, have built a dedicated fanbase through their concert-first approach, including the fifth concert 'BE BUM : BE THE TIGER' at which "YESSIR!" was first performed live. In 2026 alone, 82MAJOR has been recognised as a nominee for Best New K-Pop Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and won Promising International Group at the Weibo International Entertainment Awards.
With FEELM, 82MAJOR step further into their identity: cinematic, genre-spanning, emotionally complex, and entirely their own.
