Yuuki Yoshiyama, one of Japan’s most influential DJs and producers, has been shaping the electronic music scene for nearly three decades. Since beginning his career in 1996, Yuuki has performed in over 15 countries, providing tour support for more than 50 DJ Mag Top 100 artists and collaborating with global names including Eric Prydz, Fisher, Mark Knight, Bob Sinclar, and Meduza. Known as the “Tech Maestro” for his skillful mixing across tech house, house, techno, and trance, he has built a reputation for delivering energetic, yet groovy sets that resonate with audiences worldwide.
This October, Yuuki made his Boothaus debut in Germany, performing alongside Meduza, Wade Musik, and Siak to a sold-out, packed crowd. “What a night! I’ve found another favourite venue in the world. The support from the Boouthaus team and We Rave You was incredible,” Yuuki shared.
Yuuki also recently released his new track, “KAMUKURA,” inspired by Osaka’s legendary “Kitchen of the Nation.” Named after a ramen restaurant he has loved for over 25 years, the track blends Afro-tech rhythms with traditional Japanese drums, capturing the soulful energy of Osaka while reflecting the city’s evolution into a new era.
At the Amsterdam Dance Event, Yuuki played five shows and joined a panel featuring leading producers from across Asia, discussing shared challenges in the global electronic music industry and ways to create stronger fan experiences. “It was inspiring to share ideas with so many talented people and think about how we can keep pushing the scene forward,” he said.
Yuuki’s influence extends beyond the decks. He is the Executive Producer of GMO SONIC, Japan’s largest arena dance music festival, and was previously Executive Director of EDC Japan. He curates music and events as Music & Entertainment Director at W Osaka, and his original parties, UDVD and JIWAJIWA Tokyo, have become leading fixtures in Tokyo and across Asia. As a producer, promoter, creative director, entrepreneur, and author, Yuuki continues to blend Japanese culture, global influence, and innovation, making him a defining figure in both the international electronic music scene and Japan’s creative industries.
With a packed European debut, a new track already gaining momentum, and a growing network of collaborations across Asia and beyond, Yuuki Yoshiyama is bringing the energy of Osaka to stages around the world and redefining what it means to be a global Japanese DJ.
