ONE OR EIGHT Ignite 2026 With new Single “POWER”

ONE OR EIGHT, the eight-member Japanese pop group rapidly making waves on the global stage, return today with their new single “POWER,” out now on all streaming platforms.

True to its name, “POWER” is a hard-driving, high-energy pop banger built for momentum and movement. Anchored by an infectious, anthemic chorus and punctuated by a dynamic rap verse, the track captures ONE OR EIGHT’s signature intensity, bold, fearless, and unapologetically confident. Recently chosen as TV anime Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers Ending Theme Song 1, “POWER” stands as a declaration of strength, unity, and self-belief, echoing the group’s core message, “BET ON YOURSELF.” Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers is available to stream in North America on Crunchyroll／Discotek.

ONE OR EIGHT consists of MIZUKI, NEO, REIA, RYOTA, SOUMA, TAKERU, TSUBASA, and YUGA. Their name is derived from the Japanese idiom “Ichika Bachika,” meaning “all or nothing,” a philosophy that defines both their artistry and ambition. United by camaraderie and a willingness to take risks, the group continues to challenge boundaries as they bring Japanese pop to a global audience.

The release of “POWER” follows a landmark run for the group since their official debut. ONE OR EIGHT first burst onto the scene on August 16, 2024 with “Don’t Tell Nobody,” produced by hitmakers Ryan Tedder (Taylor Swift, Adele, Tate McRae) and David Stewart (BTS). The debut single reached No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Heatseekers Songs chart, immediately establishing the group as a breakout force.

Momentum continued with “KAWASAKI (with Big Sean),” released on December 6, which climbed to No. 5 on the U.S. iTunes Top Rap and Hip-Hop Songs chart. The collaboration also marked a major milestone as ONE OR EIGHT became the first Japanese group to walk the red carpet at the U.S. music awards show VMA, signalling their arrival on the international stage.
