Big Ocean Set Sail for the U.S. and Europe with New Single “Love Sign”
Rosa Gulliver of TINYGMUSIC | September 9, 2026

Big Ocean, the world's first deaf K-pop group, released its new digital single “Love Sign” on September 8 in the U.S. and September 9 at noon KST in Korea. The single opens a run that takes the group through New York Fashion Week, the United Nations, and twelve cities in the U.S. and Europe.
“Love Sign” is produced by Grammy-winning producer Frankie Biggz, who is deaf himself. It runs a little over two minutes, built on pop R&B and soul with a nu-disco finish. The chorus names sign languages from around the world, American, British, Mexican, Colombian, Korean, and the group signs each one as they call it out. The whole song is built on a double meaning: every line about signing is also a line about wanting someone. It is a song about a man who signs, daring you to fall for hands that know exactly what they are doing. All three members wrote the lyrics.
Two days after release, on September 10, Big Ocean presented their own collection at New York Fashion Week, the first K-pop group to do so. Big Ocean x Andy Yu is an official, CFDA, supported show of ten men's looks plus several unisex pieces, built as a homage to classic American denim. The buttons are shaped as sign-language hands, and one of the signature fabrics is pineapple leaf fibre, a biodegradable material made from agricultural waste. They also walk Philly Fashion Week on September 18.
On September 21, Big Ocean will appear at Digital@UNGA 2026, the UNDP and ITU flagship event held during the United Nations General Assembly high-level week. The group will deliver an address, announce the winner of the Digital Pioneers award, and close the evening with a performance.
The tour opens September 13 with a sold-out show at Caramoor in Katonah, NY, and runs through Atlanta (Sept 19–20), Charlotte (Sept 25), Orlando (Sept 26), Chicago (Sept 27), Los Angeles (Oct 3), Denver (Oct 5), Phoenix (Oct 6) and Houston (Oct 10–11), eleven shows across nine cities.
Europe follows with October 28 at Die Kantine in Cologne, October 31 at Alhambra in Paris, and November 3 at 229 London. Ticket information will be announced shortly; these are the group's first European dates since this spring's tour was cancelled.
Ahead of it, on August 17, Parastar Entertainment began issuing "Ocean Pass credits," a voluntary fan-compensation program. When the spring European tour could not go ahead after the third-party promoter was unable to continue, many fans were left without refunds. Though Parastar never sold the tickets and bears no legal liability, the company chose to issue credits worth 100% of every unrefunded purchase, redeemable across Big Ocean's official store and toward tickets for the new European dates.
