Rising Filipino Boy
Group BGYO Releases This Summer’s Newsworthy Single “Headlines”

Rising boy group, BGYO, has once again captivated fans with their new single, Headlines, now available on all streaming platforms. With more than 100 million in combined audio/video streams and previous No. 1 iTunes debuts in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and more, BGYO delivers a fresh anthem that dares you to love loudly and proudly.

Title track “Headlines” captures the essence of love that’s bold, fearless, and impossible to ignore. Drawing from Y2K-era R&B and elevated by sleek, contemporary production, the track signals a new creative direction for the group. This fresh anthem explores the power of connection and desire to celebrate love without hesitation or compromise, owning a connection no matter what the world thinks. With this release, the quintet continues to refine their artistry while embracing a sound that feels both timeless and forward-thinking.

Fresh off their BGYO EP release this past spring, the band is continuing to grow musically and globally as they work on honing their artistry and connecting with new fans all over the world. That EP represented their vibey signature pop sound, with songs like “Divine,” a heartfelt love song, and “Heartstrings,” an emotional rock tune that represents the push and pull of love and the disappointment of getting hurt by someone you trust. Their hit single, “All These Ladies” is still dominating playlists worldwide with over two million combined streams upon its release. A key part of this ongoing evolution is BGYO’s collaboration with global hitmakers such as Melanie Fontana and Lindgren. Their portfolio includes global megahits for K-pop giants BTS, TWICE, BLACKPINK, and most recently co-writing and producing “Takedown” from Netflix’s KPOP Demon Hunters. Contributing to the track's dynamic sound are producers and co-writers Leather Jacket and Courtlin Jabrae. Leather Jacket brings a polished, cross-genre style shaped by work with Ariana Grande, Coi Leray, and Jason Derulo. Courtlin Jabrae, known for his versatility across pop, R&B, and hip-hop, has collaborated with Usher, Cardi B, and Kanye West. Together, this powerhouse team delivers a bold, global-ready sound.

As some of the hottest musical artists coming out of the Philippines, BGYO has received recognition from the Recording Academy spotlighting them in their list of “Asian Pop artists to check out” in addition to being featured in Teen Vogue, MTV Asia, and in Netflix’s web series “Alas Netflix.” The group have been crowned winners of “Best Theme Song” at the Asian Academy Creative Awards and People's Voice Favorite Group Artist in Awit Awards (equivalent to the GRAMMY’s) for two consecutive years. With a combined social media following approaching 5 million and over 60 million TikTok likes, they continue to captivate audiences worldwide with their undeniable charisma and relentless passion. The group is a part of the biggest media and music conglomerate in Southeast Asia, ABS-CBN Corporation, known for being at the cutting edge of the Filipino music scene and is amongst the most influential music companies in the region. The group continues to be in great demand globally as they are set to perform at the renowned Summer Sonic music festival in Bangkok later this month.
