Following the global success of their debut world tour, hip-hop/R&B-inspired girl group XG has released their first-ever live album, XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL” Live, available now on all major streaming platforms.
The album features a full live recording of their sold-out Tokyo Dome show, which marked the grand finale of their first-ever world tour. The group performed to 50,000 fans this past May, closing out a global run that spanned 47 shows across 35 cities in 18 countries.
The 18-song album captures the raw energy, emotion, and show-stopping performances that made the Tokyo Dome show a defining moment for XG. It includes fan-favourite tracks like “WOKE UP,” “SHOOTING STAR,” “LEFT RIGHT,” and “IS THIS LOVE,” which has remained on Billboard Japan’s Hot 100 for 21 consecutive weeks, alongside emotional ballads and powerful unit stages.
To coincide with the album release, a live performance video of “NEW DANCE” from the Tokyo Dome show is now available on XG’s official YouTube channel.
Additionally, XG has announced the XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL” EXHIBITION, a special showcase that will open in Tokyo this September. The exhibition will feature exclusive tour photography, actual stage outfits, behind-the-scenes video content and a lineup of new limited-edition merchandise.
