Mark Tuan Returns With New Single “NIGHTLIGHT” Featuring MILLI
Rosa Gulliver of TINYGMUSIC | October 4, 2025
Global artist Mark Tuan returns with “NIGHTLIGHT,” an alternative pop track featuring Thai artist MILLI, available worldwide now via Transparent Arts and DNA, with distribution by The Orchard. The release marks the second single from Tuan’s forthcoming album, following Alone.
Written during a trip to Nashville, “NIGHTLIGHT” shifts into a more playful and energetic space, pairing Tuan’s vocals and rap with a groove-driven production and late-night atmosphere. The track captures the excitement of attraction, curiosity and pursuing what you want.
MILLI brings an added dimension to the record with a verse that moves between Thai and English, creating a dynamic exchange between the two artists and expanding the song’s global feel.
Mark Tuan says, “I’d been seeing fans ask for more rap, so when I went into the session in Nashville, I really wanted to play around with that side of myself. After ‘Alone,’ which was more introspective and focused on feeling closed off, I wanted ‘NIGHTLIGHT’ to feel like a shift: more open, playful and in motion. We tried a lot of different ideas, and honestly, I had so much fun experimenting and seeing where the song could go. The version we ended up with felt really natural. It had the groove, the energy and the balance between my rap and vocals that I was looking for.”
“Working with MILLI was another big part of what made the song come together,” Tuan adds. “I don’t have many collaborations in my catalog, so having another artist join the record already felt exciting. When she sent her verse back, it was completely different from what I had imagined, but in the best way. It opened up a whole new set of ideas for the song, even visually. Hearing Thai and English alongside each other also made the record feel bigger and more dynamic. It became something neither of us would have made on our own.”
“NIGHTLIGHT” continues Tuan’s latest musical chapter as he builds toward his forthcoming album. The collaboration brings together Tuan, a global performer and member of GOT7, with MILLI, one of Thailand’s most recognisable artists, known for her fearless lyricism and genre-crossing style.
