An unprecedented collaboration between Melomance's Kim Minseok and British singer-songwriter Sam Ryder has been confirmed.
Warner Music Korea released the official teaser video for 'Back In Love' through its social media channels at midnight on January 9, officially announcing the collaboration between Kim Minseok and Sam Ryder.
According to the video released, the collaboration song is titled 'Back In Love' and set for release at 6 p.m. on January 10. The video teaser includes scenes of Minseok and Sam recording, and a live performance, which has heightened expectations.
The two sang a portion of 'Back In Love' without accompaniment, showcasing their vocal genius and flawless skills. Some of the released lyrics provided an opportunity to generate more interest in the special meeting between the two artists and drew attention to the music that Korea's 'god of high notes' and Britain's 'king of vocals' will showcase.
While fans worldwide eagerly anticipate the collaboration of the two male vocalists with exceptional voices, Kim Minseok works alongside Jeong Donghwan as part of the duo Melomance. Each song they released, including 'Gift,' made a successful comeback, and 'Tale,' reached the top of the charts. Additionally, he is actively working as a solo singer-songwriter and has released 'Drunken Confession' and 'Always with You.'
Sam Ryder is the face of British pop music. His songs include 'Tiny Riot' and 'SPACE MAN.' He is known as 'Thunder Tiger' by his local fans and recently completed his first performance in Korea at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts Grand Theater in November of last year.
Warner Music Korea initiated collaborations in 2019, beginning with Crush and Pink Sweat$, followed by MAMAMOO's Hwasa and pop star Dua Lipa, Chungha and Danish superstar Christopher, and (G)I-DLE's Minnie. Collaborations, such as those with Anne-Marie, have been successful. This time, as Minseok and Sam collaborate, it is expected that they will create a more complete sound source.
