Following the group’s first release, a performance video of ‘Lights on’ on December 27 last year, they pre-released a lyric video of ‘Eye 2 eye’ on January 12 on their official YouTube channel (NOMAD_entofficial). 'Eye 2 eye' is a song that softly whispers of 'Let's love forever, just like when we first met,' for devoted lovers.
NOMAD (노매드) is a group of five members (DOY, SANGHA, ONE, RIVR, and JUNHO) under NOMAD Entertainment. The group’s name stands for ‘Need Our Microphone And Dances,’ reflecting their intention to go beyond the general frames of music with boldness and confidence to showcase not only their thrilling performances but also their music production skills. In particular, DOY, the leader of the group, participated in the production of all the tracks that conceptualised their album.
NOMAD’s debut EP album comes in two versions, A and B, and includes a total of 7 songs. Before their official debut in February, the group will release four songs: ‘Eye 2 eye,’ ‘Lights on' as well as ‘Automatic’ and ‘Oasis.’ Two title tracks, ‘California Love’ and ‘No Pressure,’ will be released alongside their debut single, ‘Let Me Love You.’
According to their agency, internationally acclaimed music producers gladly participated in producing the first EP album for the success of the rookie group, which has the potential to become a new wave in the K-POP realm. DK, the general producer, is renowned for producing various K-POP songs for artists such as EXO, BoA, Seventeen, NCT, and others. Another internationally renowned figure in the music industry, Jayrah Gibson, has collaborated with Chris Brown, Usher, and BTS and has produced hits such as Jay Park’s ‘JOAH,’ and ‘All I Wanna Do.’ Damon Sharpe, a world-famous producer who has worked with Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, and Pitbull, has also contributed to NOMAD’s debut EP album.
