Boundary-pushing originals CORTIS (MARTIN, JAMES, JUHOON, SEONGHYEON, and KEONHO) make a strong entrance at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with their second EP GREENGREEN.
This achievement makes them the fastest K-pop act in recent years, excluding project-based groups, to reach the Billboard 200 Top 3. Still less than a year into their career, CORTIS continue to build a record-setting trajectory for a rookie act.
If their debut COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES introduced CORTIS’s instinct to push beyond convention, GREENGREEN sharpens that vision with a clearer sense of what the group chooses to stand for. Across the EP, the members take the lead at every stage of the creative process, further defining a sound and identity of their own.
That momentum is already reflected across the charts. Lead single “REDRED” enters the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 at No. 17 just nine months after debut, making CORTIS the first K-pop boy group in the past five years to do so. The track also climbs to No. 43 on the Global 200 and No. 24 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, jumping 20 and 7 spots week-over-week. GREENGREEN follows with a No. 8 debut on the World Albums chart, before rising to No. 1 in its second week.
The group’s debut release continues to show staying power. COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, which previously topped the World Albums chart, holds at No. 6 in its 35th week, while “GO!” extends its run on the Pop Airplay chart to 11 consecutive weeks, currently at No. 31.
Growth continues beyond the charts as well. As of May 11, CORTIS have surpassed 600 million cumulative streams across their catalogue, including “Mention Me,” featured in Sony Pictures Animation’s GOAT. After hitting 500 million just 20 days earlier, the group added another 100 million in record time. Their Spotify monthly listeners have also climbed to over 11.6 million.
The group’s global footprint continues to expand as well. Earlier this year, CORTIS headlined the Opening Night of the NBA Crossover Concert Series during NBA All-Star 2026 as the first K-pop act to lead the event, before returning the following day for the All-Star Game halftime show. This summer, they will make their Lollapalooza Chicago debut, joining a lineup that includes Charli xcx, Tate McRae, and Lorde.
About CORTIS
CORTIS consisting of MARTIN, JAMES, JUHOON, SEONGHYEON, and KEONHO have quickly solidified their position as a breakout global act under BIGHIT MUSIC since their debut in August 2025. The name CORTIS is an unconventional mix of six letters drawn from the phrase “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,” reflecting their determination to think beyond the boundaries defined by the world. True to this ethos, the group has established itself as boundary-pushing originals who create on their own terms. Their 1st EP COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, released worldwide on September 8, 2025, landed at No. 15 on the Billboard 200, highlighting their rapid rise as one of the most talked-about new acts of the year. Earlier this year, CORTIS headlined the Opening Night of the NBA Crossover Concert Series at NBA All-Star 2026, becoming the first K-pop act to lead the event. The group continues the momentum with their 2nd EP GREENGREEN, led by the lead single “REDRED,” ahead of their highly anticipated appearance at Lollapalooza this August, where they are set to be the only K-pop boy group on this year’s lineup.
Keep up with CORTIS
