BTS TURN LAS VEGAS INTO A CITYWIDE CULTURAL CELEBRATION WITH ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’’ AND ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG LAS VEGAS’ 

BTS ignite Las Vegas with four sold-out shows at Allegiant Stadium, drawing approximately 250,000 fans across the run

‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG LAS VEGAS’ to transform the entire city into an immersive cultural playground

BTS have officially taken over Las Vegas, Nevada, bringing their ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN NORTH AMERICA’ with a sold-out run at Allegiant Stadium, extending the concert experience into a citywide festival ground. Across North America, the tour has drawn massive crowds at each stop, building strong momentum leading into Las Vegas, where the experience expands beyond the stadium through ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG LAS VEGAS.’  Continuing this momentum, as one of the official global city partners outside of South Korea, Las Vegas is celebrating the group’s return with the launch of ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG LAS VEGAS’ (hereafter ‘BTS THE CITY LAS VEGAS’), building on the city’s previous ‘THE CITY’ experience and extending the activation across a broader range of touchpoints for both fans and the general public.


Following consecutive sold-out stadium runs across Tampa, El Paso, Mexico City, and Stanford, BTS are currently performing a sold-out four-night run at Allegiant Stadium. Kicking off on May 23, the Las Vegas stop is projected to draw approximately 250,000 fans from around the world across all four shows. Performed on a signature 360-degree, in-the-round stage, the opening night instantly electrified the city and set the tone for the multi-night run.


Opening with “Hooligan” amidst roaring cheers from a packed stadium, the show instantly set the venue ablaze. During the surprise random song segment, BTS delivered a deeply nostalgic moment by performing “Permission to Dance” and “Go Go,” selections that swept the audience into memories of the group’s unforgettable 2022 Las Vegas shows. The momentum reached its peak during “Body to Body,” as thousands of voices gathered to sing along to the traditional folk song “Arirang.” The moment transformed the stadium into a shared cultural experience, demonstrating how a deeply rooted element of Korean identity could resonate powerfully with a global audience.

Representing HYBE 2.0’s vision for integrated entertainment experiences across music, platform, and technology, ‘THE CITY’ transforms the host city into an immersive extension of the artist’s storytelling. As a mega-scale “urban concert playpark,” ‘BTS THE CITY LAS VEGAS’ combines elements including accommodation, dining, retail, and interactive events, enabling fans and the broader public to experience BTS’ narrative across Las Vegas. Rather than limiting the experience to a single venue, the project turns the city itself into a multisensory cultural space, with Las Vegas emerging as a citywide extension of the tour, engaging both fans and the broader public at scale.


Following the massive success of ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL,’ the project now arrives in the United States with ‘BTS THE CITY LAS VEGAS.’ Running from May 20 to May 31, the program is currently underway, bringing BTS' narrative into key locations across Las Vegas. In an unprecedented collaboration with Visit Las Vegas, this citywide takeover is unfolding with the Strip illuminated in the album’s signature red nightly following the shows from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The defining centre piece of the activation is the ‘ARIRANG’ Red Illumination, accompanied by coordinated marquee takeovers. Additionally, Sphere’s Exosphere features larger-than-life, ARIRANG-themed visuals, integrating BTS' artistic narrative into the city’s digital landscape.


Beyond the citywide installations, the activation extends through curated partnerships across entertainment and hospitality. On May 23, a fireworks display at a major resort in the heart of the Strip ignited the desert sky to celebrate concert week. For fans looking to extend the post-concert energy, official after-parties are taking place across premier venues. A dedicated BTS THE CITY ARIRANG Monorail has also taken over the tracks, wrapped in the album's key motif, “WHAT IS YOUR ARIRANG?,” creating an immersive branded journey across the city.


Retail, art, and dining experiences further extend the activation across the city. From May 20 to June 17, an immersive media art venue is hosting a digital art exhibition featuring media art pieces synchronised with five tracks from the album. For exclusive merchandise, a pop-up at a premier shopping destination is offering fans a chance to collect tour-related items, while approximately ten F&B partners are offering themed food and beverage experiences tied to the activation. To encourage exploration, fans can participate in a citywide Stamp Rally program, with collectible locations mapped across participating venues.
