TOMORROW X TOGETHER (투모로우바이투게더) (SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI) launched a new global campaign ‘TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW,’ as part of a new partnership with UNICEF and the Korean Committee for UNICEF, to support the mental health and well-being of youth worldwide. On September 30, TOMORROW X TOGETHER visited UNICEF Headquarters in New York for a launch ceremony attended by 20 young leaders from the UNICEF network.
The ‘TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW’ campaign will highlight empathy as the foundation of mental health, encouraging open conversations, reducing stigma, and empowering youth to build resilience. Since their debut, TOMORROW X TOGETHER have been recognised for championing the value of empathy and togetherness through their music. Their music captures the realities of today’s generation, from the temptations and uncertainties of youth to the struggles and hopes they carry for tomorrow.
The group’s name, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, signifies coming together under one dream in hopes of building a new tomorrow, further aligning with the campaign’s message. The partnership will include a $1.4 million funding commitment from the band’s label, BIGHIT MUSIC, for programs dedicated to adolescent well-being, alongside joint global awareness campaigns aimed at breaking stigma. Through this partnership, the band aims to address the emotional challenges faced by youth, sharing a sense of comfort and courage with young people worldwide as the leading voice of Gen Z.
At UNICEF Headquarters in New York, TOMORROW X TOGETHER met with UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell to address the significance of the campaign. Hosted by actor Justin Min, a UNICEF USA Ambassador, the event began with opening remarks by Kitty van der Heijden, UNICEF Deputy Executive Director, followed by a congratulatory address from Cho Mijin, Executive Director of the Korean Committee for UNICEF.
Additionally, the band’s leader SOOBIN delivered a heartfelt speech on behalf of the band, reflecting on TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s six-year musical journey and how openly sharing their own struggles inspired them to support youth mental health. He emphasised, “Through our musical journey, we have learned that expressing emotion is a sign of strength. Now with our campaign with UNICEF, we want to help create a safe and inclusive space for youth to freely express their emotions.”
The ceremony also featured a Q&A session with UNICEF youth leaders. In response to the youth leaders’ questions on the purpose of the campaign and how music has helped find emotional strength, the band stressed the values of fostering empathy, spreading kindness, and creating a healthier future for youth worldwide. The session highlighted the shared commitment between UNICEF and the band to empower youth and to raise awareness of the issues that matter most to today’s generation. It provided a meaningful opportunity to amplify youth perspectives, further elevate the campaign's mission.
Through this partnership, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will continue to use their voice to actively take part in future campaign initiatives, raising awareness and making a greater impact in supporting youth mental health worldwide.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER are currently undertaking their fourth world tour 'ACT: TOMORROW,' set to wrap up the North American leg at Newark’s Prudential Center on October 1 and 2.
