Global rising K-pop group Big Ocean, recognised as the world’s first deaf idol group, will release their brand-new Christmas single “RED-DY SET GO” on November 23. Inspired by the story of Rudolph and his iconic red nose, the track carries a deeper message beneath its bright and uplifting holiday sound: what once felt like a flaw can become the light that leads the way.
Known for singing through sign language and reshaping the definition of performance, Big Ocean has transformed difference into identity and vulnerability into strength. In 2025, the group was also named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, further highlighting their impact and growing global presence. Through “RED-DY SET GO,” Big Ocean continues its mission to empower listeners, especially those who have faced loneliness or doubt with a story of courage, warmth, and self-acceptance.
Musically, “RED-DY SET GO” is a cheerful, rhythm-driven Christmas carol with an energetic hook and festive bounce. While the melody lifts the holiday spirit, the lyrics tell a symbolic narrative: a “small deer” who once hid in the dark learns to embrace its glow and fly without fear. From the bold countdown “3! 2! 1! I’m all RED-DY to go” to the confident line “Hidin’ no more, this is my moment to blow,” the track blends holiday joy with self-affirmation.
“This song is a reminder that everyone has a glow — even when the world says otherwise,” Big Ocean shared. “We hope ‘RED-DY SET GO’ becomes a warm companion for anyone enduring their own winter. Wherever we go, together we glow.”
The release also builds anticipation for Big Ocean’s year-end Paris concert “HEARTSIGN” on December 7th, 2025 at Bataclan, a venue symbolising recovery and rebirth. With the slogan “Warm again, Glow again,” the group aims to deliver The Warmest Concert Ever this winter.
“RED-DY SET GO” will be available on all major streaming platforms worldwide on November 23.
Keep up with Big Ocean
