J-pop Boy Group BE:FIRST Covers Jackson 5’s Iconic Song, “I Want You Back”

Global J-pop sensations BE:FIRST releases their cover of Jackson 5’s iconic song, “I Want You Back” along with their album, BE:ST which is out now via AVEX/BME. “I Want You Back” is available on all streaming platforms.

With four years under their belt, the group decides to go back to their main inspiration in order to give an honourable tribute to the iconic Jackson 5 before the release of their compilation album BE:ST. With approval from the Jackson 5 estate, the group gives a fresh new life to the track which is meant to thrill fans of all ages. With the help of CEO/Executive Producer SKY-HI and Sunny Boy, the group is able to successfully pull the cover of the track off.

The release will serve as the lead track of their newest album, BE:ST which is out now. BE:ST is the group's first best-of album, celebrating the four year anniversary of their debut, and features all of their hit songs since pre-debut. In addition, the album will also include several new songs that show different sides of BE:FIRST in their true artistry.

About BE:FIRST

BE:FIRST is a Japanese boy group managed by BMSG and signed to B-ME, a joint record label with Avex. The group was formed on August 13th, 2021 through a reality audition program ‘THE FIRST’, which was hosted by Japanese producer and rapper SKY-HI. They debuted on November 3rd, 2021 with a final lineup of seven members: SOTA, SHUNTO, MANATO, RYUHEI, JUNON, RYOKI, and LEO with their song, "Gifted," which topped the Billboard Hot Trending Songs chart and ended up becoming the most-discussed song on Twitter. The song also topped various music charts in Japan, including the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart.
