Critically acclaimed Venezuelan band, Rawayana, releases third single "Bebé" featuring Simon Grossman from forthcoming album. The single is an Afro-Pop fusion that highlights the band's sonic versatility and ability to create genre less music. The song is part of their new sonic era which includes previous releases "Binikini" feat. Danny Ocean & "Dame Un Break," the biggest hits of their career amassing +20 million streams. In addition, last week they announced their headlining tour, their biggest tour to date, with over 40 shows scheduled in North, South and Central America. The tour kicks off June 10th at the Corona Sunsets festival in Santa Marta, Colombia with the band as the headliner. See the complete tour route here and below.

“The theme of this song is influenced by reggaeton; saying ‘Bebé’ and having sex. The big difference is that as a creative concept we decided to do it in the context of a mushroom trip,” explains Beto Montenegro, vocalist of Rawayana. “Bebé” was written in Mexico City by Beto, and Simon Grossmann and was produced in Puerto Rico by Beto, Brandon Cores, Fofo Story and Bebo Dumont. The song arrives with a lyric video directed by Rodrigo Michelangeli which was filmed in Los Roques, Venezuela.

The cover of the single is something very special for the band's vocalist. “Ever since my niece gave me this drawing, I took it with me on all my travels and felt it was perfect for the cover of ‘Bebé.’ It really captures the energy we want to transmit," explains Beto.

2022 was a solid year for Rawayana. They performed in major festivals such as Lollapalooza (US & Chile), III Points Festival (Miami), and Pineapple Ball Fest (DR) and toured North America, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, and Tel Aviv. This year, they’ve positioned themselves as one of the most exciting and sought out bands from Latin America with two global hits under their belt, huge forthcoming collaborations and a 40-city tour which include notable festivals such as Festival Cordillera, Corona Sunsets, & WankaBeats Festival. Stay tuned for more news and new music from Rawayana coming soon!

“…they keep surprising the world with their avant-garde sound and their irreverence not to pigeonhole themselves into a specific genre by taking risks and distancing themselves from the prejudices of the music industry.” – Rolling Stone México “Mostly known for their blend of pop and Caribbean sounds as well as their proclivity for reggae stylings.”- Remezcla "The collective is characterized by their fusions of different rhythms and genres always maintaining a very Caribbean sound.” People en Español “Rawayana is one of the most interesting and popular Venezuelan bands at the moment.” – MOR.BO
